What was the highlight of Fast Hotel Svolvær
It's not a bad choice if one only looks for a place to stay for one night.
It's clean and rather well-equiped. Very warm inside. Close to the pier.
No reception and no luggage storage. The view from the window is a bit sad. In the morning, the staff may come often to knock on the door to check if one's checked out (but friendly).

Location is very good. The room is large and clean.
This is self check-in hotel. We should get the code and instruction for checking in but we did not receive it until we called. However, the staff did not say sorry for us at all. The bed is uncomfortable.

We had a problem with the doorlock when we arrived but an employee and the manager were really nice and helpful so the problem was solved within 5 minutes.

Pleasant
Location was superb!! Straight off the boat and over the road to a cozy room, and only a minute from the bus and town centre. The room was super spacious with great bathroom space and facilities. Fridge was a bonus.
The lights in the living/bedroom area did not work so I had to rely on the bathroom and bedside lamps for lighting. The blinds did not roll up or down with the string, they had to be manually rolled from the top. The bathroom basin piping leaked. Ultimately these factors were not much of a bother as the location is so spectacular and I was hardly in the room. However, as a young, solo, female traveller they did create a bit of an unsettling environment.
